ISOTTA FRASCHINI SrL is a part of CASTI GROUP SPA.
Using a core of people working directly with the Lost Foam Process IF has been instrumental in bringing new products to the Lost Foam casting Industry.
Lost foam casting (LFC) is a type of metal casting process that uses foam patterns to produce castings.  LFC uses a cavityless mold with the pattern remaining in the mold during metal pouring.  The foam pattern is replaced by molten metal, producing the casting.
IF has developed the CAD/CAM portion of the business to supply design assistance and modeling services to a wide range of components and industries. We have also applied our knowledge of CAD/CAM design to offer a Rapid Prototyping.
As a producer of high quality, high accuracy castings for the Automotive Industry, we have supplied some of the industry's most advanced: FIAT, GM, LINAMAR/FORD, VALEO, BOSCH, ISKRA/MERCEDES, LINAMAR/GM and MERCURY MARINE for the Marine Market.
As a producer of LFC, we are in a position to offer some of the industry's most competitive castings with excellent delivery schedules.
Our Customers have the option of submitting their orders to us several ways including paper-copy, fax or electronically either in a web-based format or with electronic data interchange (EDI)
The IF casting plants are both located in Italy: Dongo (CO) and Spoleto (PG)
